Precautions For Tractor Shift Maintenance And First Level Maintenance
Aug 06, 2024
Tractors should undergo shift maintenance after each shift or 10-12 hours of operation, and first level maintenance should be carried out after 50 hours of operation. What are the contents of shift maintenance and first level maintenance?
Shift maintenance
Firstly, remove the dust and dirt from the tractor. When working in a dusty environment, the air filter should be cleaned.
Check the fastening bolts and nuts of the main external parts of the tractor, especially the connecting bolts and nuts of the front and rear wheels for looseness, and tighten them if necessary.
Check the liquid level in the oil pan, radiator, fuel tank, and elevator, and add enough if it is insufficient.
When checking the liquid level inside the diesel engine oil pan, it must be done 15 minutes after the diesel engine has stopped working.
Check the tractor for air leaks, oil leaks, and liquid (water) leaks. Check if the coolant in the radiator is full, rinse and clean the debris between the fins to ensure effective heat dissipation.
Check for dirt and moisture in the fuel settling cup, remove if necessary, and eliminate any air in the fuel circuit. Check if the air pressure of the front and rear tires is normal.
Then, according to the instructions in the accompanying manual, add lubricating grease to the designated parts. When adding lubricating grease, it is necessary to remove the mud and water from the lubrication area until lubricating grease appears.
Finally, we also need to check if the accompanying tools are complete.
First level maintenance
Firstly, it is necessary to complete the shift maintenance project. Then open the outer cover of the air filter, remove the filter element, and clean the air filter element. Because most air filters are made of oil-based materials, it is best not to wash them with water like air conditioning filters. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove surface dirt. If they are too dirty, it is recommended to replace them directly.
Check the tightness of the fan drive belt. Adjustments should be made promptly when they do not meet the requirements. Check and adjust the free travel of the clutch pedal and brake pedal. Check the oil level in the transmission and drive axle, and add oil if it is insufficient.
Check the electrolyte level of the battery. Add distilled water when insufficient, and apply lubricating grease on the electric pile joint to prevent corrosion.
In order to ensure that the tractor is always in good condition and extend its service life, it is necessary to regularly check the technical condition of the tractor and strictly carry out technical maintenance.
