How To Repair And Maintain Agricultural Machinery

Aug 26, 2024

During the use of agricultural machinery, a large amount of dust, oil stains and other impurities will accumulate, which will affect the normal operation quality and service life. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct comprehensive inspection and maintenance before use. The overall maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery should achieve the "three flexibilities", "five don'ts", and "one intact", namely: flexible operation, flexible rotation, and flexible lifting and lowering; The "Five Nos" refer to: no frame, no dullness, no deformation, no rust, and no missing parts; 'One intact' means that the technical condition is intact. At the same time, it is required that the working parts are sharp, have low resistance, have good work quality, there is no abnormal noise or heat generated by friction between parts, and the operating mechanism and hanging mechanism function normally.

(1) Routine inspection and cleaning include comprehensive cleaning of agricultural machinery, adjustment and reinforcement of parts, lubrication of mobile components, etc. Ensure that idle for a winter does not affect the normal and safe use of agricultural machinery. Before cleaning, the machine should be inspected to determine which parts need to be cleaned and which parts need to be repaired or replaced. Then use compressed air or high-pressure water gun to clean, and be careful not to enter easily damaged parts such as electrical components or hydraulic pipelines during cleaning.

(2) Important parts inspection and maintenance check key parts such as transmission parts, rotating parts, and connecting parts. Rotate them by hand to see if they are normal and if there is any interference between the components.

(3) Check and replace lubricating parts. Mainly refers to the lubrication of bearings, gears, sprockets, and other parts. Insufficient or excessive lubrication of bearings can lead to bearing damage or premature wear, while insufficient lubrication of gears or sprockets can cause problems such as loud noise and unstable operation. Therefore, during spring maintenance, the lubrication of these parts should be checked in a timely manner, and the corresponding lubricating oil or parts should be replaced to extend the service life of the machine. When adding lubricating oil, the appropriate lubricating oil should be selected according to the machine's user manual and added to the lubrication system as required. At the same time, attention should be paid to the sealing of the lubrication system to prevent oil leakage or contamination.

(4)Check and replace components. Each component of agricultural machinery has a service life, and once it reaches its service life, it may experience failure or damage. During spring maintenance, various parts such as transmission belts, bearings, oil seals, and other vulnerable components (such as rotary tiller blade shaft tubes, blade seats, and curved blades) should be inspected to see if they need to be replaced or repaired. If there are any problems, they should be replaced and repaired in a timely manner to avoid affecting the effectiveness and safety of the equipment.
