How To Activate A Tractor That Has Not Been Used For A Long Time
Nov 05, 2024
For diesel engines that have been stored for a long period of time, in order to fully utilize their efficiency during use, the following work should be done before use:
(1) Clean the exterior of the entire machine, remove dust and oil stains, and scrub all parts clean. Check for any damage to various parts, such as bumps, bruises, frost cracks, etc. Shake the locomotive, check if the control and operation mechanism is correct and flexible, inspect the bolts at each connecting part, and tighten any loose ones in a timely manner.
(2) Remove the air filter, inject 10-15 g of engine oil from the intake pipe, and shake the locomotive to suck it into the cylinder. Add sufficient lubricating oil to the crankcase, loosen the screw at the end of the lubricating oil indicator pipe, shake the crankshaft to make the oil pump work, and check the working condition of the oil pump. If the loose screw keeps leaking oil during shaking, it indicates that the oil pump is working. After inspection, tighten the loosened screws and restore them to their original technical state.
(3) Fill the fuel tank with sufficient diesel, turn on the fuel tank switch, place the throttle at the maximum fuel supply position, shake the crankshaft to activate various parts of the fuel supply system. If the fuel injector emits a crisp fuel injection sound, it indicates that the fuel supply system is working properly; If there is no fuel injection sound, it indicates that the fuel supply system is not supplying fuel or the fuel injector is not tightly closed, and the fault should be checked and eliminated.
(4) For diesel engines that have not been thoroughly inspected and maintained before being sealed in winter, the following three tasks should be done: ① Detailed inspection of the technical condition recorded in the locomotive work diary to take corresponding maintenance or repair measures. ② Thoroughly clean and maintain the fuel tank, fuel filter, air filter, crankcase, and oil filter screen; Add clean diesel and engine oil, shake the crankshaft to make each mechanism operate smoothly Check the valve clearance and tighten the valve locking screw.
(5) Before starting, there must be sufficient engine oil and enough hot water added to the water tank. Wait for 4-6 minutes before starting. After the diesel engine catches fire, the oil pressure gauge or oil indicator should be checked immediately, and the oil pressure must meet the requirements. Listen carefully to the sound of the locomotive, check the working status of the control mechanism and control mechanism, and inspect the operation of the locomotive. Identify the locomotive fuel supply time and adjust it if it is not suitable. After everything is normal, it also needs to be operated before being put into work.
