Tractors can be classified according to purpose, walking device, power and so on.
1. Classification by use
1. Agricultural tractors are generally used for field operations, such as tilling, sowing, harvesting, etc. It can be equipped with different farm tools to meet different agricultural production needs. It can also be subdivided into wheeled tractors and crawler tractors. Wheeled tractors have good maneuverability and are suitable for operation in relatively flat farmland; Crawler tractors have less pressure on the ground and have better passability on muddy or soft soil.

1. The power of small tractors is generally less than 20 horsepower. Mainly used for small farmland operations, such as tillage, sowing, transportation and so on. 2. The power of medium-sized tractors is between 20-100 horsepower. It is suitable for medium-sized farm operations and can be used for various agricultural production activities.
3. The power of large tractors is more than 100 horsepower. It is mainly used for large-scale farmland operations and heavy agricultural projects, such as subsoiling and joint land preparation.
