There are many different types of tractors, and it is important to understand these types before determining the type of work that is most suitable for you. They are usually classified into one of the following categories: straddle, forestry, narrow wheelbase, low body, and small tractors.

A straddle tractor is an agricultural tractor with three or four wheels that can work on crops at high altitudes. For example, in grape cultivation, two or three rows of tractors can respectively cross one or two rows of grapevines. Various work equipment can be associated with this type of tractor to perform tasks such as sowing, spraying plant quarantine products, harvesting, plowing, etc.

Forestry tractors are powered vehicles with wheels or tracks, and at least two axles. The function of tractors mainly depends on their traction force, which is specifically designed for pulling, pushing, transporting, or driving certain tools, machines, or trailers used in forestry.

A narrow wheelbase tractor has a small width. Compared to other types of tractors, they are easy to operate and have a lower price, but their engine power is also lower. Tree growers often use them to enter between rows. It is also used for harvesting, fertilizing, and weeding operations.

Low body tractor, with the bottom of the tractor 18 inches or less above the ground and reaching 60 inches or less. They are designed specifically for low clearance applications, providing operators with better visibility in front of the tractor.

Small tractors are designed with smaller frames. It can provide the strength and versatility of a compact multifunctional tractor, with the flexible handling of a four-wheel drive vehicle and the feel of a garden tractor.
