Aug 15, 2025

To facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of agricultural machinery by farmers, eliminate safety hazards, and ensure the smooth development of agricultural mechanization production, the following agricultural machinery maintenance knowledge is provided.
1. Replace the engine oil of the tractor and combine harvester, clean the oil filter and oil filter element, replace or clean the fuel inlet filter, oil pump inlet filter and lubrication system.
2. Release the diesel from the tractor and combine harvester diesel tank, clean the tank to remove sediment from the bottom, and add fresh diesel to the oil level after cleaning.
3. Check the diesel engine's diesel filter, vaporizer, and inlet pipe, clean them if necessary, eliminate sediment and other impurities, replace damaged filters and aging broken oil pipes.
4. Check whether the valve clearance of the diesel engine is appropriate, whether the valve spring and the safety ring on the valve stem are intact and undamaged.
5. Check the connection between the steering mechanism ball joint and the clearance between the pull rod movements, adjust if necessary, and replace damaged ball joints, pull rods, and other vulnerable parts.
6. Check the fastening of the clutch housing to the engine and transmission mechanism box, tighten if necessary, replace damaged screws and nuts, as well as elastic washers, sealing rings, etc.
7. Check the oil level in each lubricating body and add it to the oil level position in a timely manner if necessary. Add lubricating grease to the lubrication parts of the bearings, transmission rods, and front and rear axles.
8. Check the electrolyte level of the battery and clean the vent holes on the battery cover. If necessary, add distilled water or other liquid agents. Remove the contact surface between the battery pole and wire clamp, as well as oxides and other debris.
9. Clean the scale and impurities in the water tank, add clean and pure water without impurities to the water level, and tighten the water tank cover plate.
10. Adjust the tension of the conveyor belts in each conveyor system, without being too tight or too loose.
11. Check the front and rear tire pressure. If the tire pressure is too low, inflate it to the standard pressure value in a timely manner, and replace the broken and aged rubber tires.
12. Check whether the various instrument glass or resin plastic cover plates in the cab are intact, and replace any broken or damaged instruments in a timely manner.
